Composition:
Intramammary ointment.
One Injector Contains
Procaine Benzylpenicillin 300000i.u.
Kanamycin sulphate eq.100mg base
Prednisolone 20mg
Excipients up to 10g

Indications:
Synergistic association of two antibiotics penicillin and kanamycin shows antimicrobial activity against most important udder pathogens (Streptococcus agalactiae, Str. dysgalactiae, Str. uberis, Staphylococcus aureus, Actinomyces pyogenes, E. Coli).
The addition of the anti-inflammatory short acting glucocorticoide prednisolone makes this preparation particularly of value in treatment of acute mastitis, often accompanied by painful tissue reactions.
For treatment of acute mastitis in cows, ewes and goats
Administration and Dosage:
Prior to treatment, milk out the udder thoroughly, clean and disinfect teats. Thereafter insert the cannula into the teat canal and inject the ointment.
The contents should be massaged upwards, if necessary, repeat the treatment with intervals of 12-24 hours.
Use an injector per infected cow quarter.
In Ewes and Goats, use ½ injector per infected mammary gland.
Withdrawal Period:
Meat: 4 days
Milk: 3 days
