Synergistic association of two antibiotics penicillin and kanamycin shows antimicrobial activity against most important udder pathogens (Streptococcus agalactiae, Str. dysgalactiae, Str. uberis, Staphylococcus aureus, Actinomyces pyogenes, E. Coli).
The addition of the anti-inflammatory short acting glucocorticoide prednisolone makes this preparation particularly of value in treatment of acute mastitis, often accompanied by painful tissue reactions.
