Medina Chemicals Limited was established in 1999 to serve the livestock farmers in Kenya and the broader East Africa region with quality products sourced from reputable companies across the globe. Our activities include sourcing, registration, marketing and distribution of superior animal health products to farmers in the region. The company’s offices and warehousing facilities are located on Mombasa Road, directly behind Cadila Pharmaceuticals.

The organization is registered with relevant government institutions that regulate pharmaceutical products in the market, including Veterinary Medical Directorate and the Pharmacy and Poisons Board and adhere to all relevant industry guidelines. We offer Veterinarians, farmers, Governments and NGOs the widest range of veterinary products for cattle, camels, sheep, goats, pigs and poultry products ranging from Antibiotics, Anthelmintic, Trypanocides, Nutrients and Acaricides.

The company is managed by a qualified professional team with diverse experiences in areas of finance, animal health, distribution logistics and management. Medina Chemicals has a total number of 65 employees including 35 in the branches. Over the years, we have undertaken intensive market research and industry networking to ensure that we are always in line with the latest development in the industry. This tradition has successfully enables us to build a broad client base and continues to anchor our legacy of growth and reliability in the market. In the past fifteen years, the company developed a reliable and efficient distribution network to cover the entire country and some of the neighboring states in the region.

The organization has a significant branch in the Northern region of Kenya with a warehouse and a retail outlet in Garissa town. Other smaller branches are located in Mombasa, Dadaab both in Kenya and satellite offices in Somalia and South Sudan. In Northern Kenya, we have the best marketing structure. Our extensive experience and knowledge of the region enables us to make products available even to the remotest parts of the country.

Medina Chemicals Limited invested heavily in transportation and has deployed six pick-up trucks across the country where every regional sales office is independent on transport to ensure efficient delivery of products to the stockiest and farmers. Two other larger vehicles with a combined carrying capacity of 25 tons are based at the warehouse to move large volumes to the regions.
